Community Bodywork for Babies (0-crawling)

Ortho-Bionomy® provides support for infants and children with:

  1. Breastfeeding difficulties

  2. Asthma

  3. Colic

  4. Ear infections

  5. Recovery from traumatic birth

  6. Gastrointestinal issues

  7. Reflux

  8. Developmental delays

  9. Anxiety

  10. Extreme mood swings

  11. Hyperactivity

  12. Sleep issues

The purpose of our group sessions is to provide a safe space for babies and their caregivers to experience Ortho-Bionomy®  in a supportive environment. Community sessions are generally one hour in length for up to five babies, include 1-3 bodywork practitioners, and are a more affordable option to discover if this therapy resonates with your baby. Our practitioners assess and observe the babies, provide gentle hands-on bodywork for each baby and their individual needs, and discuss helpful techniques or exercises for continued care. There is often valuable education around developmental milestones, best practices for baby handling, and ways to support your growing child.

Organ Vitality - Embodying the Roots of our Energy - with Erik Bendix

 a 3-part Body-Mind Centering® workshop series 

These workshops offer fresh ways to be physically present, to move and to express yourself creatively. In each 2-Sunday unit, we experience how a different group of vital organs gives us energy: first blood organs, then organs of breath and voice, then organs of digestion. Our learning of anatomy will be supported by movement, respectful touch, group exchange and stillness. By finding balance and vitality in each part of ourselves, we gain resilience and can better serve our world and those we care about.

September 15th & 22nd…………Blood Organs heart, liver, spleen, marrow, kidneys

October 13th & 20th…………….Organs of Breath & Voice lungs, tongue, voice, diaphragms

November 10th & 17th…………….Digestive Organs digestive tract, liver, gallbladder, pancreas

TIMES: 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. + 2:30 - 5:30 p.m.

Each workshop includes 2 consecutive Sundays. COST: $240 for 2 Sundays on one theme. $600 for the whole series (i.e., one Sunday free). 36 CEU’s or PDA’s are available for whole series (12 per topic).
