Gentle Flow Yoga (Wednesdays 8:30-9:30am)

Kinēsa (Tuesdays & Thursdays 8:30-9:30am)

Kinēsa is a method that focuses on the connection between the mind and body through movement. The name comes from four key aspects of this process - Kin (for Kinesthetics), Ē (for Emotion), S (for Sensation), and A (for Attention). This method is an advanced form of the Feldenkrais method as well as other methodologies. The Kinēsa approach uses slow, subtle movements that work on a neurological level to unravel habitual patterns that can cause bad posture and chronic conditions.

The Kinēsa experience focuses on guiding your attention toward how your body moves, creating a heightened sense of awareness of your entire structure. By establishing new pathways of organized movements, Kinēsa helps to balance the body as a whole. You will discover that improving your body's flexibility isn't just about physical movements, but also involves the mind. Kinēsa can be beneficial in improving your posture, and balance, reducing stress and fatigue, by establishing healthier movement patterns. It is suitable for those who want to prevent chronic conditions as well as those who are already experiencing chronic pain.
